When comparing the two axes it's primarily opinion-based, especially when picking which one to use. Nevertheless, while they both match each other in power, the Devil Finger Axe is unrivaled in its abilities, making it one of the best weapons to use in Rune Factory 5.

Use junk items on recipes repeatedly

The best way to increase Crafting, Cooking, Forging, and Chemistry skill levels is by repeatedly failing a recipe using junk items. You can use any item that you have an excess of, but we recommend using Scrap Metal as they are very easy to find, especially if you mine a lot.

Easiest way is to just use two iron. That'll make the first level dual blades. From there, you can level it up and be eligible for further recipes.
