How to forge in Rune Factory 4? ›

Once you've ordered the appropriate license for yourself, you can get a forge (as well as the crafting table) from Bado. You will need to have activated the 2 central switches to get to the boss room in the Water Ruins. After that, you can place your forge wherever you choose.

Make something easy like a broad sword and then upgrade it repeatedly with iron or bronze. You should be able to level it up pretty fast like this. Make a batch of broadswords, buy colored grass that has a difficulty as close to your current forging without going over and upgrade the broadswords with the colored grass.

Easiest way to do that is to mass produce Broadswords and Small Shields and upgrade them with Medicinal Herbs to level them up to Lv10. Wear a Heart Pendant while doing this. You'll gain levels really quickly up until you reach Lv70-80. Then it'll be a bit slower but I easily maxed my Forging and Crafting this way.

Best way to level forging is probably by making a bunch of broadswords, then upgrading each one to level 10 with iron. Wear a Heart Pendant, if you have one, for boosted exp gain. That, and later on I like to switch to White Grass. Since it has a lot higher difficulty than Iron does it increases your skill quicker.

To be able to date a villager, players will have to raise the Love Point, or LP, level with that villager up to at least 7. This can be done by giving them gifts which can be done once a day. If they love an item, it will give more LP than if they just like an item.

Max level is 50,000. Stats max at 99,999 except HP and RP.

We suggest you get started by learning from a professional blacksmith in a class. Once you have an understanding of the fundamentals and safety precautions, you might set up your own blacksmith shop at home. To get the option to forge you'll have to upgrade your house. Neumann will upgrade it for if you have 200,000g and 2,000 pieces of wood. After your house is upgraded a forge, a pharmacy counter, and a decoration area will be added to your house.

Item Crafting becomes automatically available after buying the house expansion upgrade from Neumann's Farm. The expanded area automatically includes a Forge where Raguna can create weapons, tools, and shields. A small table Accessory Table near the forge can be used for accessories and upgrading the Sleeping Bag.

The first forge recipe book is acquired from Ganesha after raising her friendship value a tiny bit. Further recipe books for the forge can be purchased from the Rune Archives after Selphy arrives in town; the books offered for sale are different on Tuesdays.

To begin cooking, the protagonist must speak to Porcoline to obtain a cooking table for free. After this, he or she must order an "EZ Cooking License." Upon passing, Porcoline will sell a knife, frying pan, and mixer. After ordering the "Pro Cooking License," Porcoline will sell an oven, steamer, and a pot.

Select the item you want to have upgraded and place it in the [Upgr Item] slot and the item you want to upgrade with in the [Materials] slot. The resulting item should show at the bottom where it says "Projected". If the resulting item has the stats you want hit "OK" to confirm.
