GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries New Content Overview

For anyone itching to make their return to GTA Online, the San Andreas Mercenaries update is a chunky new patch of content for you to bite into. Here is a quick look at everything new arriving in this update:

• Project Overthrow: six new solo/multiplayer missions
• LSA Operations: three new private contract missions
• Source Missions: four new missions added to the Free Trade Shipping Co.
• Sell Missions: three new missions added to the Free Trade Shipping Co.
• New Mammoth Avenger upgrades
• New Operations Terminal upgrade
• New Vehicles
• New Weapon
• New Carrer Progress challenges

New Mammoth Avenger Upgrades

This GTA Online event is centered around the Mammoth Avenger, the military plane first featured in The Doomsday Heist update back in 2017. So before you can truly dive into the rest of the new content arriving in the San Andreas Mercenaries update, you need to know what's new with the Avenger:

• Operations Terminal added
• Owning a Hangar is no longer required
• Mammoth Avenger customization options

Operations Terminal Added

The Operations Terminal is a new interior upgrade for the Mammoth Avenger. This upgrade will allow you to launch the new San Andreas Mercenaries missions, including Project Overthrow and LSA Operations.

There are three ways to get the new Operations Terminal for your Avenger:

• Purchase directly from Charlie in the Hangar
• Purchase while customizing your Avenger in the Charlie Upgrades menu
• Purchase while upgrading the Avenger on the Warstock Cache & Carry website

Owning a Hangar is No Longer Required

That's right, you no longer need to have the Hangar unlocked in order to own a Mammoth Avenger. Instead, you can call a Mammoth Avenger that you own to your location using the Services section of the Interaction Menu. This means you can participate in the San Andreas Mercenaries update even if you do not have the Hangar yet.

Mammoth Avenger Customization Options

You can now customize your Mammoth Avenger in the Hangar with some new "mil-spec" upgrades, including:

• Front-facing machines guns and missiles
• Stealth module
• Missile lock-on jammer

You can also upgrade your Avenger with the Mammoth Avenger Thruster, a smaller vehicle stored within the Avenger that can be called to your location using the Interaction Menu to transport you back to your sky-bound Avenger.

San Andreas Mercenaries Update: Project Overthrow

Say hello to six new missions in GTA Online, available to play with one to four friends. Join Charlie Reed in Project Overthrow, a series of missions to take Merryweather Security entirely out of the picture.

How to Unlock Project Overthrow:

• Launch directly from the Operations Terminal inside the Mammoth Avenger
  • Upgrade the Mammoth Avenger with the Operations Terminal at Warstock Cache & Carry or with Charlie at the Hangar

San Andreas Mercenaries Update: Los Santos Angels Operations

Some more mercenary work is available for you via the new Operations Terminal aboard your Avenger. Three private contract missions called LSA Operations can be launched and complete to unlock an exclusive Outfit upon first-time completion. Plus, complete the bonus objectives that become available with each LSA Operations replay to earn extra cash.

How to Unlock LSA Operations:

• Launch directly from the Operations Terminal inside the Mammoth Avenger
• Call Charlie from your iFruit after installing the Operations Terminal

New Hangar Additions

• Four new Source Missions and three new Sell Missions are available to pick up from the Hangar laptop.
• New Snack and Weapons pickups can be found lying about the Hangar, perfect for restocking before you pick up your next mission.
• Talk to Rooster McCraw to source cargo for a small fee
• New Flight School access point added inside Hangar

  • Available now from Southern San Andreas Super Autos or at the Luxury Autos showroom and equip it with Imani Tech upgrades like the Remote Control Unit and a Missile Lock-On Jammer.
