How to activate the Avenger autopilot Function:

The Autopilot function grants players the ability to vacate the helicopter co*ckpit while in mid-air, granting access to the cargo hold or allowing them to exit the aircraft entirely. During autopilot mode, players can operate one of the onboard cannons. If they choose to leave the aircraft in mid-air, they can either parachute down on foot, use the mammoth thruster or use a stored vehicle from the hold. Certain special vehicles with flight capabilities can smoothly transition into flight mode after departing from the hold, while the Stromberg and Toreador have the unique ability to transform into submarine mode and safely land in water bodies beneath the hovering Avenger.

It’s important to note that re-entering the Avenger after leaving it unmanned in autopilot mode is not a simple task; it requires returning the aircraft to the facility for further use. Additionally, any accidental crashes or player casualties caused by the aircraft’s propellers during Autopilot mode will be attributed to the aircraft’s owner.

The Autopilot mode can exclusively be activated in VTOL mode and must be done at an altitude of at least 80ft above the ground. Attempting to engage Autopilot while the aircraft is in motion will result in the aircraft gradually returning to the point where the player initially activated the feature.

The Avenger Countermeasures:

To bolster its defensive capabilities against homing missiles, the vehicle can be equipped with specialized countermeasures, each possessing distinct attributes:

• Flare Countermeasure: The Flare countermeasure releases a series of flares from the rear of the aircraft, disorienting homing missiles and causing them to veer off course, thus avoiding a direct hit. This countermeasure operates with a three-second delay between uses and has a total of 20 uses available.

• Chaff Countermeasure: Upon activation, the Chaff disrupts the targeting system of missile launchers, rendering them incapable of locking onto the aircraft for a duration of five seconds. However, there is a five-second delay before it can be utilized again, and it comes with a limited supply of 10 uses.

• Smoke Countermeasure: When activated, the Smoke countermeasure creates a trail of smoke, aimed at disorienting enemy pilots. However, its effectiveness is somewhat limited as the size of the smoke trail corresponds to that of a standard co*ckpit. An adept enemy pilot could potentially evade it by maneuvering away and tracking the smoke trail. Unlike the other countermeasures, there is no delay between uses, allowing it to be employed indefinitely.

It is essential to note that utilizing these countermeasures requires the presence of a co-pilot in the aircraft. Their assistance is necessary to activate and deploy these defensive measures effectively.

The Avenger Defensive Capabilities:

Similar to the MOC, the Avenger boasts incredibly resilient armor, allowing it to endure substantial damage with ease. It can disregard the impact of terrain and inanimate objects, demonstrating remarkable robustness. Nevertheless, it falls slightly short of the MOC’s level of resilience due to its aircraft nature, which inherently reduces its overall durability. While it can withstand considerable punishment before succumbing to destruction, explosions may cause critical damage to its ailerons, leading to loss of control and potential crashes. The Avenger proves to be highly resistant to homing missiles, necessitating numerous hits to bring it down, but evading these missiles without countermeasures is a challenging task, and a well-placed hit can permanently impair the aircraft. Furthermore, severe damage might disable one of its engines, making it exceedingly difficult to maintain flight.

Fortunately, crashing the Avenger after losing control generally won’t result in its total destruction due to the sturdiness of its hull, allowing occupants to escape safely. However, it faces a significant threat from the Chernobog, whose homing missiles possess exceptional range, speed, and accuracy. To preserve the Avenger, it’s advisable to avoid engaging with these formidable missile trucks.

When equipped with the 100% Armor upgrade, the Avenger can withstand the following:

• 22 explosive rounds from the Heavy Sniper Mk II
• 8 RPG hits
• 22-26 homing missiles (triggering its return to storage after taking the minimum number of missiles)
• 19 Railgun rounds
• 1 Flak cannon round from the Anti-Aircraft Trailer
• 4 tank shells

Furthermore, players can enhance the Avenger’s defenses by choosing one of the two available Autopilot Defense upgrades in their hangar:

• The Missile Lock-on Jammer upgrade provides immunity to missile lock-ons, similar to select Imani Tech vehicles.
• The Stealth Module upgrade renders the Avenger invisible to enemy radars, akin to the capabilities of the Akula, Annihilator Stealth, and F-160 Raiju.

The Avenger Weaponry:

The Avenger offers a diverse selection of weaponry, catering to both the pilot and occupants in the cargo hold, making it a versatile and formidable choice against various targets.

• Gun Turret: Depending on the upgrades, the aircraft can be equipped with either a single remote cannon turret positioned beneath the nose, firing high-velocity rockets, or two additional turrets situated on top of the fuselage and under the tail. By engaging Autopilot hover mode, a single occupant can access the cargo hold, taking control of the turrets and easily switching between them with a single button press. This setup empowers a lone player with potent offensive and defensive capabilities against various targets before they can inflict significant damage on the Avenger.

• Missiles: The second choice for the pilot consists of two missile launchers, offering the option to fire homing or non-homing missiles. However, these missiles cannot be fired continuously, similar to the P-996 LAZER, Hydra, and Buzzard Attack Chopper, as they require a short “reload” time after firing two missiles in quick succession. These missiles have tracking capabilities comparable to most weaponized aircraft

• Machine Gun: The first option available to the pilot comprises two .50 caliber Miniguns, operated similarly to those found in the Akula and the Annihilator Stealth. These Miniguns boast a rapid firing rate of 900 rounds per minute and a range of 300 meters/984 feet. Each bullet inflicts the same amount of damage as the aforementioned helicopters (30).

• Bombs: The Avenger can also be equipped with various bomb options, providing substantial firepower against ground targets. Four different bomb choices are available:

  • Explosive: Inflicts high damage against targets at any range, resulting in consistent damage across the entire blast radius.
  • Incendiary: Creates a trail of fire akin to the Molotov co*cktail, continuously burning targets for a constant damage output. The damage is more potent at the center of the explosion, gradually diminishing towards the edges.
  • Gas: Causes a noxious effect on players and NPCs upon impact, similar to Tear Gas. The gas has a slightly larger blast radius than the standard bomb but cannot damage vehicles. Its effect lasts for approximately 25 seconds.
  • Cluster: Upon impact, the cluster option generates a smaller explosion compared to the standard bomb, but it disperses small clusters within its radius, leading to increased damage against a single armored target.
