Tommy installed 3 internal slab doors as well as a pre-hung exterior door. They came out perfect! I am extremely happy with how they turned out. I hired Mario Brothers to replace and paint a door that had a unique measurements/fit due to it being an older hour. They were able to come to my house and measure it properly, go and purchase the right door, stain (paint) it to the exact color of the original door and install it. They went absolutely above and beyond with this repair installation! All completed for a very reasonable price as well. I highly recommend and will be hiring them if I ever need further home repair needs. Thanks guys!

The double doors at our event space wouldn't close correctly. Nate did a fantastic job with repairing them. He also repaired another set of doors after seeing that they needed an adjustment as well. Before you decide to hire a contractor on Thumbtack or Yelp or Angie's List, be sure and read all the reviews — not just the glowing ones. Read the reviews where the rating was one or two stars. You will often see a Jeckel and Hyde pattern. A word of warning: be wary of estimates that are lump sum rather than time and materials. $175 to hang a door? OK. How long does it take? Also be wary of zip code pricing and buying any hardware from the contractor. You can buy it yourself just about anywhere for a fraction of the price. I had three pocket doors that needed to be removed, shortened, and reinstalled. One of the doors had to be replaced completely because Doug decided to remove it by cutting it in half. Doug's price for the three doors was approximately $800 including a new $35 door. Doug Gillespie is very knowledgeable and skilled at what he does. He's been involved in his trade for I believe 27 years and he has a wealth of knowledge and skills. He will do great work undoubtedly. However it my situation it was fairly easy to find another craftsman who would do the same work for $200 and be grateful for it.
